Day outing to Clonakilty and Ardfield/Rathbarry, West Cork. Speakers: Tim Feen, Dr Danielle O’Donovan, Gerald Butler, Michael O’Mahony, Diarmuid Kingston, Michael O’Connell and Fachtna McCarthy. Sites include Kilgarriffe Old Cemetery (Clonakilty); West-Cork Regional Museum (P85 YY48); Emmets’s Square; Caher ringfort (P85 HR98); Galley Head Lighthouse (P85 PP83) and Castlefreke Castle (P85 HC85).
Assemble at 11.30 am at Craanmore Stud (Keating’s Equestrian Centre), Eircode P85 K443, near Kilgarriffe Old Cemetery, Clonakilty.
Picnic lunch/own arrangements in Clonakilty.
