CHAS County Lecture: ‘Liam Lynch: Life of an Irish Revolutionary, 1892-1923’ by Gerard Shannon.

This event, co-hosted with the Mitchelstown Heritage Society, is the Cork Historical & Archaeological Society’s annual County Lecture. Mitchelstown has been selected for his year’s county lecture given its proximity to the location of the death of Liam Lynch in April 1923. The event will also mark the association of Canon Courtney Moore, a founding member of the Cork Historical & Archaeological Society, with the lecture’s venue, St George’s Arts and Heritage Centre (Eircode: P67 XC61)
