Online Lecture Series Spring 2021

We are very pleased to announce an online lecture series for early 2021. This series will be conducted via Zoom and will consist of four lectures:

  1. Wednesday 27th January @ 7:30pm, Dr John Borgonovo speaking on ‘Terence MacSwiney and the Cork/Brixton Hunger Strikes in context’.
  2. Wednesday 17th February @ 7.30pm, Dr Niamh Whitfield speaking on ‘The ‘Tara’ brooch: the making of a medieval masterpiece’.
  3. Wednesday 24th March @; 7.30pm, Prof Pádraig Ó Macháin speaking on ‘The Book of Lismore: a book of miracles and wonders from Co. Cork’.
  4. Wednesday 14th April @; 7.30pm, Dr Michael Dooley speaking on ‘Between Glandore and New York: Judge Daniel Colahan and the Irish Revolution 1912-1922’. This is the County Lecture organised in association with Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage.

The numbers who can attend these lectures is limited, so early registration is strongly recommended. Registration will be made available in the in the period leading up to each lecture.
